Yang has more than 12 years of PR and related marketing experience and has worked with companies at all stages of growth. She joined Page One PR from Red Hat where she ran communications for the JBoss Division. Prior to that she was a director at Schwartz Communications where she led PR teams supporting clients such as JBoss, Eclipse Foundation and Softricity. She also contributed to PR programs for webMethods, QNX and GE Global eXchange Services at critical points in their growth. Early in her career, Yang worked at Smith Barney and Knight-Ridder newspapers, and served as an editor for the popular Let’s Go travel guides. She holds a BA in sociology from Harvard University.
